THE RICHARD PATTEE COLLECTION

STAUFFENBERG - NOORDZEE MODEL AUCTION

American collectors will have a unique opportunity to bid on Dick Pattee’s collection of Stauffenberg and Noordzee models during the 2010 Boston SMSC meeting. Dick Pattee passed away this winter and wished to see at least a part of his extensive collection be made available to collectors in North America. These are among the finest 1:1250 models ever made, and they only exist in limited numbers.

Richard Pattee, Dick’s oldest son, will hand carry the models to Boston. The twenty-six Noordzee and the twenty-six Stauffenberg models will be on display during a silent auction. The family has set minimum bid prices in US dollars based on original prices paid by European collectors. Please note that these minimum prices are considerably below what many collectors may have seen on E-Bay, or elsewhere. The models will go to the highest bidder. Proceeds from the auction will go towards the Richard Saltonstall Pattee Scholarship Fund at the Munich International School, where Dick was a teacher and administrator for almost 30 years.
