I recently finished working on a Hansa Rotterdam, painting her in original 1959 appearance. The first photos show the model as it was finished by Hansa.

The next photo shows the model with the paint completely removed, using Easy Off over cleaner. The Hansa models come apart, with is great for painting them. It makes working on them a lot easier.

The old Hansas for some reason had rims around the portholes. It gave the appearance that there were bumps along the hull. I took a emory board and remove all these rims, and then polished the hull with the Dremel. The hull and all the parts I hand painted using Humbrol, which really gives it a nice finish.
